Settlement with Ørsted brings the Elsam II case to an end
The competition authorities have entered into a settlement with the energy company Ørsted in the so-called Elsam II case.
The settlement implies that the parties acknowledge that it has not been demonstrated with sufficient certainty that Elsam in the period July 2003 to December 2004 abused its dominant position by imposing excessive pricing for electricity in the wholesale market for the sale of physical electricity in Western Denmark.
