The European Commission approves Mastercard/Nets merger subject to conditions

The approval is based on the condition to license Nets’ technology for the provision of account-to account core infrastructure services (A2A CIS) to a third party. The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (DCCA) had referred the merger to the European Commission and assisted the European Commission in its assessment.
