Listen your way to a better understanding of well-functioning markets
It can be hard to find the time to read technical literature on, for example, what well-functioning markets are and why we need the Danish Competition Act. But now you can listen your way to a better understanding via podcasts while driving your car, cooking or perhaps taking a run.
The Competition and Consumer Authority is launching a new universe in the form of podcasts on competition and consumer affairs. Two podcasts are already available, and our plan is to follow them up with more along the way.
In the first podcast, Director General of the Competition and Consumer Authority Jakob Hald tells us what well-functioning markets are, and why they are important for both businesses and consumers. Jakob Hald also looks at how cutting-edge technological developments are challenging the more traditional markets - for better or worse.
In the second podcast, Chairman of the Competition Council and professor of economics at the University of Copenhagen, Christian Schultz, joins in. This is the story of why competition is important and what role the Danish Competition Act plays in Denmark.
