25. februar 2010

The Danish Competition Council has concluded commitments with DR and TV 2, who owns the high masts in Denmark, to secure the conditions for leasing space in high masts used for broadcast purposes.

The Danish Competition Council has had concerns regarding the prices charged by the owners of high masts for leasing space in the masts. The Council has had concerns regarding both the price level as well as discrimination between the tenants, who uses the masts.

With the commitments the owners of the masts have accepted a number of conditions, which secure that the owners of the masts do not charge unfair prices for leasing space in the masts. Furthermore, the commitments secure that the tenants are not discriminated.
